An injury and time away from training led to BUDO Fight Gear, an Australian BJJ brand built around Japanese-influenced artwork. Its collections include Onikuma, Oni x Viper, Zombie Shaka, Nure-Onna, and Kitsune, with designs drawn from Japanese folklore, tattoo art, and combat-sports culture.

The catalog covers BJJ gis and gi pants, rashguards, grappling shorts, belts, kids gear, and casual clothing. Large illustrations, contrast stitching, and collection-specific themes distinguish the range from plain academy uniforms.

Many BUDO products are made in China, where the brand says it found the workmanship it wanted for its gis, rashguards, and shorts. The company also works with tattoo artists on selected designs and ships its gi, no-gi, kids, and streetwear products worldwide.
